Please read these terms before using jobsprig.com. Using the site means you agree to them. If you would rather not accept them, simply stop using jobsprig.com.
Who runs the site
JobSprig, based in Rockhampton, Queensland, runs this site for people living in Australia. You can reach us at careers@jobsprig.com, Monday to Saturday, 9am to 7pm AEST. "We", "us" and "JobSprig" all mean the operator of the site.
Words with a set meaning
An "opening" is a role shown on the site. An "employer" is the business offering it. An "applicant" is anyone who sends the application form. A "referral" is us passing an applicant's details to the employer that applicant chose.
What JobSprig does
We show openings, receive applications and make referrals. That is the whole service. We are not your employer, and sending an application does not make you our employee, contractor or agent. Whatever you agree after a referral, you agree with the employer.
About the openings
We write each opening from what the employer told us when it was listed. Employers can fill, change or cancel an opening at any time and may not tell us first. So an opening may already be gone by the time you apply, and a referral is never a job offer.
How to apply
Fill in the form, then send the WhatsApp message that opens after it. Until that message is sent your application is not complete. If WhatsApp is not an option for you, email careers@jobsprig.com and we will take your application that way.
You never pay us
JobSprig does not charge applicants and will not take money from you. We do not sell kits, ask for deposits, sell credits or coins, charge to unlock an opening or ask for a payment before wages can be released. Anyone asking you for money in our name is not acting for us, so please report it.
Pay, hours and conditions
The employer sets the pay, the hours and when you get paid. Before you start, ask the employer to confirm in writing its legal business name, what the work involves, the rate, the hours expected and the pay dates. Do not rely only on a phone call or on a summary from us.
When an advert and the site do not match
If you see a JobSprig advert that says something different from this site, let us know. We will fix whichever one is wrong. Nothing general in these terms cancels out a specific promise made in an advert.
Your personal information
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and who sees it. Sending the form means you understand your details will be kept for the reasons listed there and passed to the employer you picked.
Rules for using the site
Please do not send details about someone else without their permission, give false answers, try to break into or overload the site, copy its content with bots or scrapers, or use it to advertise your own business. We can refuse to handle an application that breaks these rules.
Who owns the content
The text, layout, images and code on this site belong to JobSprig or are used with permission. You may view pages and print one copy for your own personal use. You may not copy the site, mirror it, republish it, reverse engineer it or build another site from it. What you type into the form stays yours; you let us use it only to make your referral.
Services run by other companies
The form runs on WhatsForm, messages go through WhatsApp, and hosting and email forwarding are handled by Cloudflare. Their own terms apply to those services, and we cannot promise they will always be working.
Country restrictions
Visitors from some countries are shown a notice instead of the site. We decide which countries are on that list and may change it without notice.
When the site is down
We try to keep the site running, but we cannot promise it will always be available. Maintenance, provider outages and events outside our control can take it offline.
Your consumer rights
Nothing here takes away a guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. If a clause here clashes with such a right, the right wins and the rest of these terms still apply.
Limits on our liability
Subject to your consumer rights, JobSprig is not responsible for an employer's decision to hire or not hire you, for how an employer behaves, for wages an employer pays late or does not pay, or for indirect losses such as missed income or opportunities. We are still responsible for what we ourselves do.
Mistakes on the site
If you spot something wrong or out of date, tell us and we will correct it.
What we ask of you
Give us true information, be honest with employers about when you can work, and tell us if something important changes, such as your phone number.
Events outside anyone's control
Neither you nor we are responsible for failing to do something because of events beyond reasonable control, such as internet failures, government action, floods or fires.
If part of these terms fails
If a court decides one part of these terms cannot be enforced, that part is removed and everything else keeps working.
Not enforcing a term straight away
If we do not act on a breach of these terms immediately, we can still act on it later.
The whole agreement
These terms, our Privacy Policy and our Compliance Notice are the complete agreement between you and JobSprig about using this site.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of Queensland, Australia. You can also bring a claim in the courts of the Australian state or territory where you live.
Notices and updates
Send any formal notice to careers@jobsprig.com; we treat it as received on the next business day. These terms may be revised now and then. The version on the site when you use it is the one that applies, and the date at the top shows the latest change.
