Compliance and Risk Notice

Last updated: 24 September 2026

We publish this notice so applicants, employers and advertising platforms can see exactly what JobSprig does, what it does not do, and the risks worth knowing about before taking on work from home.

What we are

JobSprig lists openings that employers give us, collects applications from people in Australia and sends each application to the employer the applicant chose. We do not hire anyone, run anyone's pay or manage anyone's work. Any job that follows is between you and the employer.

How we earn money

Employers pay JobSprig for listing openings and for referrals. Applicants never pay us anything, at any point.

Claims we do not make

We do not promise that you will be hired, that an opening is still free or that applying will earn you any set amount. You will not see placement counts, success rates or star ratings from us, because nobody could check them. If you see an advert using figures like that next to our name, please report it so we can have it corrected.

Never pay to start work

A genuine employer will not ask you to pay before you begin. Do not pay a deposit, a fee for equipment, a top-up, a credit purchase or a charge to release your wages, no matter who asks. Send the details to careers@jobsprig.com.

Get the terms in writing first

Before you start, ask the employer to put in writing its legal name, the work, the rate, the hours and when you will be paid. A WhatsApp message counts. If the employer will not do this, you can walk away and let us know.

What we cannot check

JobSprig is not a regulator or an auditor. We speak with each employer directly before an opening goes up, but we do not visit workplaces, review employers' finances or supervise the work once it starts. If an opening turns out to be a problem, we take it down.

How openings are written

Every opening is based on what the employer tells us. We do not make up pay figures, inflate the duties or make an opening sound more certain than it is. Where an opening and an advert disagree, we fix the one that is wrong.

Your information in short

The form asks for your name, email, age, gender, nationality, country of residence and WhatsApp number. These go to the employer you chose and to the providers listed in our Privacy Policy, and we keep them for twelve months after we last hear from you.

Tracking and country blocking

Google Analytics (G-GGCCZXXRR8) and Google Ads (AW-18270392796) measure visits and completed forms without receiving your name or contact details. Cloudflare's country detection is used to block visits from some countries.

Age and work rights

The service is for adults. Checking that you are allowed to work in Australia is the employer's job.

Reporting a problem

Send reports about adverts, messages or employers to careers@jobsprig.com, with a screenshot if you have one. A person reads each report, looks into it and replies. This notice does not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or the Privacy Act 1988.
